    How to set a reminder online

    1. Type what you want to remember, such as “Call the dentist” or “Take the pizza out”.
    2. Pick In and a time such as 15 minutes, or At and a time and date.
    3. Choose whether it repeats, and the sound.
    4. Press Set reminder. Keep this tab open: when the time comes, it rings and shows your reminder.

    Questions and answers

    Does the reminder ring if I close this tab?

    No. A web page can ring only while it is open, so keep this tab open, in the background if you like. To get reminders with no tab open, use the free Reminder App extension for Chrome.

    Will I hear it while I work in another tab or app?

    Yes, as long as this tab stays open and the computer is awake. Allow notifications when your browser asks, and the reminder also shows over other windows.

    Are my reminders saved?

    They are kept in this browser, on this computer, so a reload keeps them. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
